The Quiet Corner Bedtime Stories does not have user accounts, comments, or visitor profiles. We do not collect payment details directly on this site.

Local browser storage

Playback progress and queue information are stored locally in your browser. This does not mean episodes are downloaded or saved to your account, and this information is not used for advertising tracking.

Simple site analytics
We use GoatCounter for simple privacy-friendly site analytics so we can understand which pages are visited and whether the site is working well for listeners.
GoatCounter stores aggregate analytics, such as page views, referrers, browser or system type, approximate location, language, and screen width. We use this only to understand and improve the website.
GoatCounter does not use advertising tracking, cross-site profiling, visitor cookies, localStorage, cache storage, or visitor tracking IDs. It does not store IP addresses in its database.
We do not use analytics to sell visitor data or build advertising profiles.
Listening to episodes
Episode audio is delivered through Acast. When you play an episode or open an Acast-hosted link, Acast may process technical information needed to deliver playback, measure listening, protect the service, and provide podcast hosting features.
Subscribing through Supercast
The Subscribe page uses Supercast to display and process the Quiet Listener plan. If you choose to subscribe, Supercast may process the information needed for checkout, account access, payment handling, and podcast app setup.
Monthly letter signups
A Letter from The Quiet Corner uses MailerLite to manage email-only signups and send Annie's monthly letter.
If you choose to sign up, MailerLite will collect your email address and handle the signup, double opt-in confirmation, mailing list management, delivery, and unsubscribe process.
Because double opt-in is enabled, you are not fully subscribed until you click the confirmation link in the email MailerLite sends. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any letter.
MailerLite may also provide basic email engagement information, such as whether an email was opened or links were clicked, so the mailing list can be managed and improved.
Podcast, support, and third-party links
The site links to podcast apps, listening platforms, support services, social platforms, Acast, Supercast, Ko-fi, Buy Me a Coffee, MailerLite, and other third-party websites. If you open one of those links, the third-party service may collect information according to its own privacy policy.
Payments, subscriptions, podcast listening, and mailing-list services are handled by those external providers, not directly by The Quiet Corner website.
Your choices
You can choose not to use optional third-party services. You can also clear local browser storage for this website in your browser settings.
If you sign up for the monthly letter, you can unsubscribe from emails using the unsubscribe link in any message.
