About Annie

Hi, I'm Annie, and I created The Quiet Corner Bedtime Stories as a peaceful place to relax, unwind, and drift gently off to sleep.

I've always believed in the magic of storytelling: the way a beautifully written tale can slow the world down, bring comfort, and create a moment of peace at the end of a long day. Sharing these classic stories has become one of my greatest joys, and knowing that a gentle reading might help you rest fills me with warmth and purpose.

In each episode, I share a carefully chosen tale from some of the world's greatest storytellers. From beloved short stories to chapters from classic novels, these timeless works are read slowly and accompanied by gentle music to create a calm and comforting listening experience.

Here in The Quiet Corner, you'll find stories I have treasured for years, from L. M. Montgomery and Louisa May Alcott to Arthur Conan Doyle, Jane Austen, Tilly Aston, and many more. Each episode is created with soft narration, thoughtful pacing, and a deep love of timeless classic literature.

From time to time, Annie's husband Aemon joins her for Sherlock Holmes readings, bringing a familiar warmth to Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's stories; stories he has a particular love for.

Whether you're settling in for the night, looking for a quiet moment of rest, or rediscovering the beauty of classic stories, you'll find a cozy place here.

So dim the lights, get comfortable, and join me in The Quiet Corner.

Thank you for being here — and sweet dreams.
